Look what i made!!
i bought a juicer today and i am so excited!! i made this juice for abigale and i as a snack
2 apples
1/2 lime
a piece of a beet
a big handful of spinach
sounds interesting enough right? i was afraid it would be really gross, but it was lovely! Abigale liked it and even said she would drink it every day if i made it for her!! I've been wanting to make juices or green smoothies and now i have the means to do so!!
Yay! A juicer! I have several friends who are REALLY into juicing. My main worry would be the calories. You're eating super healthy food in a concentrated form, but---I always think that that's a HUGE calorie chunk in a small glass. Like...I think I'd feel a lot fuller eating all that in a salad rather than a glass of juice. Let me know if you think you're feeling sated after the juice vs. actual food consumption.

actually the juice pictured is roughly 70 calories for half the batch. With one batch i filled the 2 glasses and had probably another glass worth left over. it doesnt make me feel full at all. I didnt really get it to loose weight or anything though, i just like juice and so does jesse and i would rather make it so i can juice veggies :) also, i like it because i can juice the stuff i would otherwise not eat (like beets) :)
